BORN FROM THE LOVE OF A MOTHER

Koru Beauty was created from a deeply personal journey—one of self-discovery, healing, and the quiet decision to love myself fully.

For years, I didn’t feel enough. I thought beauty was something external, something to chase. But when my daughter was born, I knew I wanted her to grow up knowing her worth, loving herself effortlessly. And then I realized—I had to show her how.

I had to love myself first.

I used to believe that wearing makeup wasn’t spiritual—that true self-love meant being bare, untouched. But then I learned something that changed everything:

Beauty, when done with intention, is not vanity—it is reverence.

Adorning myself wasn’t about hiding, but about honoring. It wasn’t about being seen, but about seeing myself.

That’s why I created Koru Beauty—a daily reminder that self-expression is self-love and that every woman deserves to feel beautiful in her own, unique way.

Inspired by the koru—a symbol of growth, renewal, and new beginnings—Koru Beauty is more than a brand. It’s a practice. A soft space to return to yourself. A way to move with intention, to apply with love, to whisper a quiet "I am beautiful" into the mirror.

This journey is yours. Let it be soft. Let it be sacred. And most of all, let it be yours.

With love,
Gosia

What motivated you to create Koru Beauty?

Koru Beauty was born from my own journey of self-love. For years, I didn’t feel enough—I thought beauty was something external, something I had to achieve. But when my daughter was born, I knew I wanted her to grow up knowing her worth, without question.

And then I realized—I had to show her how. I had to love myself first.

I created Koru Beauty as a gentle reminder—a way for women to reconnect with themselves, to see their beauty as something sacred, not something to chase.

What does "Koru" mean, and why did you choose it?

The koru is a Māori symbol of an unfurling fern, representing growth, renewal, and new beginnings. It felt like the perfect reflection of self-love—a continuous unfolding, a journey back to yourself.

Just like the fern, we are always growing, always evolving. Beauty is not about reaching a destination—it’s about honoring who you are in this moment.

What do you want women to feel when they use Koru Beauty?

I want every woman to feel seen, worthy, and whole. To slow down, to move with intention, to apply lipstick not as a habit, but as a ritual of self-honor.

Because beauty is not about perfection. It’s about presence.

What does self-love mean to you?

It means treating yourself with the same kindness you give to others.
It means embracing yourself fully—even on the days when it feels hard.
It means remembering that you are already enough, just as you are.

That’s what Koru Beauty is here to remind you.

What is Your Dream for Koru Beauty?

My dream is for Koru Beauty to be more than a beauty brand—it’s a movement of self-love and intention. A gentle reminder that beauty is not about perfection, but about connection—to yourself, your essence, your power.

I dream of women taking a moment each day to honor themselves, to apply their lipstick with intention, to look in the mirror and whisper, “I am enough.”

If Koru Beauty can help even one woman see herself through softer, kinder eyes, then my dream is already coming true.
